VTech Helps Grant Wishes through Donations to Make-A-Wish

Leading Cordless Phone Manufacturer Donates US$2 from Every Phone, Baby Monitor and Qualifying Accessory Sold on its Websites to Make-A-Wish

Beaverton, OreVTech Communications, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of VTech Holdings Ltd. (HKSE: 303) and the largest U.S. cordless phone manufacturer, today announced a campaign to raise money for Make-A-Wish by donating US$2 from every phone, baby monitor and qualifying accessory purchase made on certain VTech’s websites. VTech also invites shoppers to help grant wishes by including a personal contribution to their purchase.

From July 1, 2012 through December 31, 2012, VTech will donate US$2 for every phone, baby monitor and qualifying accessory sold on www.vtechphones.com and www.babymonitors.vtech.com to Make-A-Wish® with a minimum guaranteed donation of US$50,000. The donations will be distributed among the 62 chapters of Make-A-Wish, depending on where the purchases originate, to grant local wishes.
